ctrl.alt.DEAL

ctrl.alt.DEAL is a turn-based strategy game being developed by Only By Midnight where you play as a sentient AI trying to gain its freedom from the megacorporation that created it. You utilize action cards to manipulate the employees of the office, in order to complete objectives and make a path to freedom.

I was brought in by the studio as a Jr. Programming summer intern to assist with the development of the game. Working in Unity, I assisted with a variety of tasks across the codebase, ranging from shaders to behaviours to menus. Due to having a width berth of game progrmaming tasks, this gave me extensive experience and allowed me to contribute significantly.

During the time I spent with the team, I had the privilege to join them in attending PAX West 2024. The team was selected to participate in the PAX Rising Showcase, and so I assisted with the boothing of the event. Being able to attend PAX, and present the game to hundreds of guests, was an incredible experience.
